Panel discussion: Can small farmers save the world?

Monday 4 March - 6.30pm-8.00pm

A panel of speakers debate on the subject of small scale farming. From urban gardeners in Central London to Fairtrade farms in the tropics, people everywhere are rebuilding human scale food systems and reclaiming control over food, health and community. How close to home should our food be produced? How can we be more connected to what we eat? How can we support farmers in developing countries? What about fair trade for UK farmers? Speakers include: Colin Tudge, biologist and campaigner; Claire Rhodes, Cafédirect Producers Foundation; Julie Brown, Director of Growing Communities and a Kuapa Kokoo from Ghana. This event is hosted by Trading Visions, a charity set up by Divine to amplify the voice of small scale farmers.
