“At first, we had to walk about 3 miles to the forest before getting water to fetch. The water was not clean and we had to filter it before drinking. Even after filtering, the water still smelled and sometimes there were worms in the water. Now because of Kuapa, we have good drinking water which makes us very comfortable. The water is very good and when we drink, we do not fall sick. People from the other villages praise us. They say our water is sweet. The school children now go to school very early and farmers too can go to their farms early and return in time to do other things all because of Kuapa.”
