Fairtrade Fortnight

February - March

Fairtrade Fortnight is the fantastic annual nationwide event when towns and communities everywhere celebrate the growing impact of fairer trade. This is the opportunity for farmers from Kuapa Kokoo to come over as ambassadors of their co-operative, tell their stories, and in turn discover the support for Fairtrade - and love of chocolate - here in the UK! Hundreds of people get the chance to meet, talk with, and hear the stories of the cocoa farmers who co-own Divine and it always has a profound impact - an experience you never forget.  It really brings home the power we have as consumers to really make change happen.

This year Divine will be going on the "Celebrating Divine Women" tour and will be visiting Liverpool, Warrington, Bradford, Wales, London and Oxford. Check the Tour calendar, we hope you can join us.

Each year, Divine works closely with Fairtrade steering committees to organise a fun and diverse tour meeting schoolchildren, shoppers and retailers, church groups, local businesses, government officials and councils. If you are keen to put on events with cocoa farmers in your local area during Fairtrade Fortnight please contact us.
