Chocolate Week was launched in London almost 10 years ago. This year, we're celebrating in the US by bringing you exciting new recipes and giveaways October 14th-20th. Happy Chocolate Week!

Chocolate Week, an idea initially proposed by the Academy of Chocolate, was launched in UK in 2004. The idea was to celebrate the true taste of chocolate, introducing a nation of chocolate lovers to the great variety of flavours and nuances of chocolates and cocoas from different origins. Divine Chocolate was invited to be involved from the start, and, alongside chocolatiers and other chocolate companies, we have built a national week-long celebration that aims to be as inclusive and diverse as possible. With its beginnings very much London-centric, where many of the top chocolatiers are based, Divine Chocolate has been instrumental in ensuring that wonderful chocolate experiences happen all over the country, partnering with hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops to create exclusive Divine desserts and treats for the public to try.Exciting Divine high points over the years have included the most beautiful Divine chocolate dim sum served at a top London Chinese restaurant, wonderful desserts at the top UK vegetarian restaurant Terre á Terre, chocolate tasting at Kensington Palace, chocolate cocktails at exclusive bars, and recipes created for Divine by high profile UK chefs and food show presenters.Today, Chocolate Week is a national fixture on the calendar in October, and thousands of people are enjoying new flavours and learning more about real chocolate. This year for the first time, the international show Salon du Chocolat will also be at the heart of Chocolate Week – a grand show of chocolate excellence.

For Divine, Chocolate Week is as much about collaboration with great partners, as it is about the taste of wonderful chocolate, with the story of the cocoa farmers who own the company, enhancing the experience wherever we go.
