Ginger and Orange Chocolate Crumb Bars
Prep Time: x minutes + cooling
Serves: People

Ingredients
250g unsalted butter
175g caster sugar
350g plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 bar (90g) of Divine 70% Dark Chocolate with Ginger & Orange
1 bar (90g) of Divine 70% Dark Chocolate with Ginger & Orange
397g condensed milk
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a 34 X 24 cm baking tray with greaseproof paper on the bottom and butter around the edges.
Step 2
Mix all ingredients except for the chocolate for the bottom/topping together in a stand mixer. It should resemble crumbs, don’t let it come together into a ball. This is your crumb mixture.
Step 3
In a separate heatproof bowl, melt the first bar of chocolate in the microwave. Add the condensed milk to the melted chocolate, stir well. This is your ginger and orange chocolate filling.
Step 4
Press ¾ of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking tray.
Step 5
Spread the chocolate filling out over the base.
Step 6
Break up the other second bar of chocolate into small pieces and add to the remaining crumb mixture. Spread this over the top. Bake for 25-30 mins.
Step 7
Once cooled cut off the edges and cut into squares.
