An incredibly easy to make ice cream that has a wonderful rich and spicy taste and texture. Try it topped with melted chocolate and roasted nuts.
Ingredients
Method
Break up the chocolate and place in the bowl of a food processor. Chop as finely as possible. Pour out into another bowl and set aside.
Place the figs into the processor bowl and chop roughly.
Add the milk and sugar to make a smooth purée.
Whip the cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the chopped chocolate you set aside and the fig purée.
Place the mixture into the ice cream machine, if you have one, and church until frozen. You can also freeze the mixture in a freezer-safe container until firm.
Remove from freezer and enjoy! Best eaten within a few days.
